Interplay. The valuable experience taken from the game.

For company’s development a lot of factors are essential: specifically loyal clients, whose credence has to be deserved, investment in growth of employees’ potential. Besides, following the one strict elaborate strategy and seamless interaction between the top-managers - these facts are also extremely required!

Exactly these business facts were revealed to the top-managers and heads of the departments of “Melston Engineering” within the confines of business-simulation “Interplay”, that took place at 14th of May in the conference hall of “Sokos” hotel (Saint-Petersburg, Russia). The action was lead by the certified business-trainer of Stockholm Business School of Economics - Vsevolod Krylov. Six teams participated the business game. Each member of the team was taking the certain position and the area of responsibility in the virtual start-up. However, any decision about further steps for company’s development was accepted collegially, according to the resources, that the company currently had owned. The game allowed every member of the team to take a new look at both internal and external processes of company’s development. It also brought the ability to defend personal’s opinion and to take responsibility for the following results. Besides, the necessity of harmonious steps of development was reflected.

As a result the company, that has achieved the best total marks after the 5 rounds, was declared as a winner. For each participant of the business-training were presented Certificates of Achievement. The winning team was additionally awarded by the gifts.
