“Melston” Sports Festival 2014

4 of July Melston Group celebrated their birthday with the first Sports Festival in their history.

Four teams separated according to the region of presence to: North-West, Central, Ural and Siberian teams participated the event. The Festival was preceded by the serious preparation. To determine the regional team members the qualifying tournaments were lead. The cup would go to the team that earns the most points in team event of four sports disciplines such as volleyball, chess, ping-pong and darts. The victory of the team from Saint-Petersburg was a result of hard and excitable competition. The guys from Ural took the second place. The third place was occupied by Siberian team. The team from the Central region got the fourth place. The winners obtained the Golden Cup that could easily change its host next year. The athletes that had missed the team but willing to glance with their sportive assets were able to participate such exotic competitions as “Water Battle”, “Giant Djenga” and “Hit the Goal”. After summing-up and awards’ presentation there was a reception where all the participants could refresh themselves with shashliks and fish stеaks. The reception smoothly went to the discotheque where the band named “Sunny Moon” played the covers of old Soviet hits.
