The 1-st place in beach volley tournament.

The volleyball team of “Melston” Group has taken the first place in beach volley “Silver League” of “Construction Cup – 2014”. The event organized by “Pinkov Sports Projects” took place at 27th of July in Saint-Petersburg Centre of Beach Sports “Dynamite”.

As followed from the tournament name, it was participated by the 15 teams representing the largest construction companies of Saint-Petersburg such as LSR, Plaza Lotus Group, NCC etc… The teams were divided by the results of selection games into two leagues: the “Gold” and the “Silver” ones. Inside those leagues, the fans of the teams could see a serious struggle for victory!

Alexey Krupenin, the captain of “Melston”, said: “Our team was brought together not so long ago and we had little experience in beach volley. Besides, we are participating in such a serious tournament for the first time. That empathize all the importance of this victory for us, because we had to contest against very strong rivals who were showing both: mastery and coherency.

It should be noted that “Melston Team” was awarded by one more prize except “Silver League” Cup. Our athlete Alexey Nikulin has become the best attacking player of the tournament.
